We got home in time to meet our dinner delivery guy (Dragon Rouge - it's not quite Slanted Door, but it's close -- and the best Asian on the Island in both our opinions), pop the Haagen Daas Butter Pecan in the freezer and drag Christopher away from his own personal salt mine for a delish sit down dinner.

Later that day...
Our weekend days are divided into two parts: Before Nap and After Nap. In this case, the capital-N "Nap" belongs to Aemon (as Roane is still taking 2-3 a day and the whole "Before / After" thing would just get ridiculous if we included his). The Fairyland outing took place Before Nap. I mentioned Christopher had to work on Father's Day? That left After Nap to fill (even though Aemon didn't actually take a nap that day - but I digress).
Our kind, kind friends Tara and Aaron saved the day by offering up their fantastic backyard for some good old timey romping. Tara and Aaron are Eric's folks - Eric is absolutely positively Aemon's best buddy at school, so any opportunity to go over to his house is like the best day ever. While Aaron played spaceship with the older boys in the backyard, Roane and I got to visit with Tara and baby Noah inside. This picture is pretty darn sweet.
