Lunch du jour

We walked 1 mile each way to catch Little House Cafe’s Burger Wednesday. They have the best turkey burger I’ve ever eaten. Seriously, they should interview me for that Food Channel show. Juicy meat, carmelized onion, field greens, tiny yummy gherkins, tangy cheddar, artisanal bun (because something always has to be artisanal).

And of course they’d sold the last one to some should-have-had-the-salad software programmer 3 minutes before we arrived.

I ended up with tomato soup and a strawberry arugula salad – and a blondie and chai latte to make me feel better about it.

But Roane was an awesome date. He would have wanted half my burger anyway.
